Council President Paul M. Rodrigues said it was good to see the school’s finances back on track and the town continue to fund its pension and other retiree benefits.

- Okayed a special event permit for a “Cub Scouts Pack 77 Free Cycle Yard Sale” on Saturday, April 22 from 7:30 am - 12:30 pm at the Middletown Public Library, 700 West Main Road.
- Heard a request from resident Antone Viveiros to have cameras installed at strategic locations across the community to serve as a deterrent for people running red lights. “It’s getting worse, it’s not getting any better,” Viveiros said.
