The Middletown Prevention Coalition celebrated Red Ribbon Week at Gaudet Middle School this week. Students were challenged to sign a drug-free pledge, talk to a trusted adult about why they hope students avoid alcohol and other drugs.

We celebrated Red Ribbon Week at J.H. Gaudet Middle School this week! Students were challenged to sign a drug-free pledge, talk to a trusted adult about why they hope students avoid alcohol and other drugs, participate in a healthy workout that is good for the brain and the body, and challenge their knowledge about the harmful effects of drugs. Students who completed this challenge will earn a prize and a chance to win some pretty cool gift cards.
Red Ribbon Week is a national drug prevention campaign celebrated every year during the last week of October. The goal of Red Ribbon Week is to educate young people about the importance of choosing to be drug free.
